This is me, my name is Johannes!
Welcome to my creative universe. This is my online musical diary and social hub.
Someone very cool wrote this about me
your hands is the alias of Danish songwriter Johannes Brandstrup. Rooted in folk storytelling and Nordic sensitivity, his music blends intimate songwriting with a subtle indie sensibility. Written barefoot in bed, the songs unfold in a soft, organic, hand-played soundscape that feels close, human, and unpolished in the best way. Driven by a desire for real human connection, the project has found its natural home in intimate live settings, with living-room concerts in Paris, Montreal, and across Denmark. Onstage, your hands offer a tender and quietly humorous experience - music shared openly, with the heart held gently in both hands
